LostLOST

For nearly a year I
have been lost to despair
deserted on an alien
world I know not my
surroundings.

The beings around
me seem familiar but
strangers they have been
and continue to be to me
unknown.

Structures so distant but
not lost to memory I
cannot replace new visions
with familiarity and
warmth.

No means of return so
permanent as forever I
remain stranded here now
for all time I will be

This is the photomanip of what is most likely the most beautiful sunrise i have ever seen. I snapped this on my way to the bus stop one morning, and almost missed it because i had to set up the camera just right. I cropped the image to get rid of the corner of a roof, did a gaussian blur, used the Burn/Dodge tools, and added a border.

I always used to think that sunsets are more stunning and beautiful than sunrises...until I saw this photo. Beautiful!
